If you thought prompt engineering made developers’ lives easy, imagine automating even that. Meet gpt-prompt-engineer, an AI agent that helps you find the right prompts, taking experimentation to a whole new level. Looks like there is nothing much to do, after all.

Recently, in an interview with Peter H Diamandis for the Moonshots and Mindsets Podcast, Stability AI chief Emad Mostaque said: “There will be no programmers in five years.”

But, looking at the pace at which the AI landscape is moving, developers could get obsolete even before that and prompt engineers would eventually transform into AI engineers. Now with gpt-prompt-engineer, you can chain together lots of GPT-4 and GPT-3.5-turbo calls that work together to find the best possible prompt. And the best part is, it's open source.

On the contrary, is ChatGPT (based on GPT-3.5 and GPT-4) any good for coding or debugging? Recently, several users expressed disappointment over how difficult it has become to debug a code. “ChatGPT is good for code generation, but it generates codes that require debugging, so blindly using it would be a waste of time,” shared a Twitter user.

But, there is an easy solution to this problem. Read to find out.

Google’s ‘Quantum’ Claims

Google has created a quantum computer that is almost 47 years ahead of its competitors as it performs calculations within seconds, which is better than all top-performing supercomputers. The tech giant is ready to say adios to classical computing and is ready to move to quantum computing as the new processor has 70 operational qubits.

Universal Quantum’s Sebastian Weidt said, “This is a very nice demonstration of quantum advantage. While it’s a great achievement academically, the algorithm used does not really have real world practical applications.” It highlights how we need to get to the utility of quantum computing, where the thousands of qubits actually deliver value to society.

Google’s Updated Privacy Policy

Google, over the weekend, updated its privacy policy, which allows it to collect information that is publicly available online or from other public sources to train its AI models. The company has said that it intends to use this information to build new products, bolstering the capabilities of Bard and its Cloud AI models.

While these changes have been seen as a way to tighten the tech giant’s grip over user data, it also sets a dangerous precedent for the new Internet. In a world where free API access is being cut off and companies are collating their data to be sold as a product, Google’s heavy-handed move might create a world where the free Internet is owned by tech giants. Observability in the Era of Generative AI

New Relic, a US-based data observability platform recently announced New Relic Grok, the world’s first generative AI assistant for observability. This new platform leverages Microsoft OpenAI Azure services.

In an exclusive interview with AIM, Ganesh Narasimhadevara shares the details of the platforms, new features, and future roadmap, besides throwing light on the challenges, opportunities and possibilities and more. Read the complete story here

India’s Space Boom Begins

India currently houses close to 140+ registered space tech startups. While Skyroot Aerospace, Dhruva, Pixxel, and Bellatrix are some of the popular names, there are many more carving a niche in the space.

One of them led us to Erisha Space, a startup based in India, that is embarking on a mission to revolutionise space technology and usher in a new era of cost-effective satellite solutions. Last month, the company announced its plan to launch a satellite equipping AI-based image processing capabilities for environmental analysis and sustainable development. The satellite, set to be launched in 2024, will boost the company’s remote vision capabilities by GIS and photogrammetry in various domains.
