We're inviting you and all our friends in the sailing and boating community to join in and support us so we can continue our work to help keep you safe around the coast. Visit us at the Southampton International Boat Show on stand J130 in Ocean Hall and help us celebrate our 30th anniversary of helping to save lives around the coast. This year sees an even bigger line-up of events and entertainment including the return of our ever-popular raffle, with four sets of goodie bags to be won every day of the show. Plus you can test your VHF radio skills with Icom, check out the latest Fuji high powered optics and meet some of our special guests including Tom Cunliffe and Julia Jones. Look good and feel good Did you know that there is now a great range of NCI merchandise from an on-line store? You can look good and feel good too, knowing that every purchase makes a valuable contribution to our funds. We have ambitious plans to expand our network of stations and invest in vital equipment so we can keep a lookout for you. Every contribution matters. There's lots of goodies for people of all ages from postcards to hoodies as well as housewares, gifts and an anniversary range. Why not treat yourself or a loved one? DONATE Flag relay fun In case you missed it, look at our website and Facebook page to see what our watchkeepers have been up to this summer (as well as looking out for you). A special anniversary flag travelled to each of our 60 stations where there have been special celebrations and highly innovative means of travel on its 2,000-plus miles relay. It included multiple community events and even a circus performance. The flag was transported in many ways, including on foot, kayak, bicycle, cable car, horseback, light aircraft, steam trains, RNLI lifeboats, Police RHIBs and convoys of classic vehicles. Stephen Hand, NCI Chair said: "I would like to say a huge thank you to all our volunteers. They have all surpassed themselves and organised extraordinary things that have really helped to put the spotlight on our work to help save lives as part of the UK's maritime search and rescue community."
