Radar trends for March

A lull in the usual AI torrent has allowed Mike Loukides to explore a few underbeaten paths in tech trends this month. Here's some of what he's seeing. Sam Altman may be feeling the same lull, leading to a surprising announcement, if not a reordering of priorities at OpenAI. Meanwhile, software appears to be running in place against hardware speed. Could be bloat. Also, the many ways we're destroying software, enumerated by antirez.
