Now, it can even add matching sound and dialogue, making videos look and sound super realistic. Plus, there's a new social app where you can create, remix, and put yourself into AI videos! Key Details: Sora 2 creates longer videos (5-10 seconds) with much better physics, handling complicated scene changes smoothly. It can generate audio that perfectly matches the visuals, creating realistic voices and sound effects. The new Sora social app has a 'Cameos' feature where you can record yourself and put your face into AI-generated scenes. The app is free to start in the U.S. and Canada with some limits, and a Pro version with API access is coming soon. Why It Matters:   Sora 2 opens up amazing new ways to tell stories, create content, and market products with high-quality AI-generated videos and audio. The 'Cameos' feature could spark new viral trends and offer innovative ways for personal branding or interactive experiences, potentially revolutionizing how digital content is made and shared.   Source - OpenAI Google creates new AI models to make robots smarter! Google DeepMind has released two new AI models for its Gemini Robotics family. One model, Gemini Robotics-ER 1.5, plans out complicated steps for robots, using smart thinking and even Google Search. The other, Gemini Robotics 1.5, then makes the robot actually do those plans, translating instructions into physical movements. Key Details: This new two-part system solves a big problem in robotics where one AI had to both plan and act, often leading to errors. Now, robots can follow multi-step instructions much more smoothly, like sorting recycling according to local rules or doing other complex physical jobs. These models are built to work with many different kinds of robots. Gemini Robotics-ER 1.5 can already be accessed by developers through the Gemini API. Why It Matters:   By making robots much better at understanding and carrying out complex tasks, these new AI models could greatly improve efficiency in industries like manufacturing, logistics, and even home services. This means more reliable and versatile robots could soon take over repetitive or dangerous physical workflows, freeing up human workers for more creative and strategic roles.
