The rankings are meticulously curated through surveys, thorough secondary research, and engaging discussions with participating institutions. This year's release features dual rankings, distinguishing postgraduate Data Science or Analytics programs based on their mode of delivery: on-campus and online/hybrid.    These courses extend unique value propositions to students, catering to diverse learning preferences. For instance, a few months ago, Mistral AI pasted a torrent link to its model on a post on X without any context. Extropic AI posted a message in Morse code about the launch of its company’s funding round.  While the former likes to make generative AI fun, the latter is all about effective acceleration (e/acc) of generative AI. Get to know more about Extropic AI here.  Semiconductor Fluff Talks  In March, this year, Union IT minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said that India’s first semiconductor fab would be announced in just a ‘few weeks’. However, nothing materialised. Again, in July, in an interview with The Economic Times at Semicon 2023, the minister said that his government will approve two high-quality semiconductor chip fabrication proposals in the next 12 months. The Indian government, over the years, has consistently made announcements about establishing fabrication units in the country.
