Google Launches its New AI Model for Editing Google has launched a new AI model, Gemini Flash 2.5 Image, also known as "nano-banana" from its testing days. This model is super good at editing pictures in many steps, keeping characters looking the same, and giving users more creative control. Key Details: It's now the top-ranked image editing AI on LMArena, proving its superior performance This AI can make multiple changes to an image one after another, always keeping things consistent. It can also blend images, apply different styles, and even add smart details based on what's natural for a scene. All images created with this tool include visible watermarks and hidden digital tags called SynthID for identification. Why It Matters:   This tool offers incredible potential to streamline visual content creation. Its ability to maintain consistency across edits, blend images, and offer "pose control" means faster, more professional results for marketing, design, and storytelling. The inclusion of watermarks and SynthID highlights the growing importance of AI ethics & provenance in creative workflows.   Source - Google Apple Might Power Siri with Google's Gemini AI Apple is looking to completely redesign Siri, its voice assistant, and is reportedly talking with Google about using its advanced Gemini AI. This could mean a much smarter Siri for iPhone users sooner than expected. Key Details: Google has already tested a special version of Gemini AI on Apple's own private computers. Apple is working on two versions of Siri: one called "Linwood" with its own AI, and another called "Glenwood" that uses outside AI technology. Apple has also talked to other big AI companies like OpenAI and Anthropic, but no final decision has been made yet. If Apple chooses an outside partner like Google, a much-improved Siri could be available to users before the planned 2026 update. Why It Matters:   A vastly improved Siri powered by advanced AI means better integration of AI into daily work on Apple devices.
