Now, on to this week’s latest stories!  Last Week In AI   Claude’s Big Upgrades: Personalized AI with Massive Capacity Anthropic has rolled out significant upgrades to Claude, transforming it from a general chatbot into a personalized AI assistant with massive processing capabilities. These changes make Claude far more useful for complex, ongoing work. Claude has now: Conversation memory and learning from user preferences Customizable communication style 1M token capacity for analyzing large document sets Enhanced codebase analysis capabilities Improved business-focused features competing with ChatGPT Why It Matters:   For entrepreneurs and creative professionals, these upgrades are game-changing. An AI that remembers your preferences while handling massive amounts of information can dramatically improve your workflow, making complex projects much easier to manage.   Source - Claude Google Launches New AI Model   Google has released 'Gemma 3 270M,' an even smaller version of its open-source AI model. The cool part is it can run directly on your smartphone, web browser, and other devices while still being powerful and efficient.   Key Details: It has 270 million parameters with a vocabulary of 256k tokens, letting it understand rare words better. It is battery-friendly - tests on Pixel 9 Pro showed it used only 0.75% battery during 25 conversations. Follows instructions without extra training, making it easy for developers to use immediately. Google provides compressed versions (INT4) that run on phones and small devices without losing much performance. Why It Matters:   This is a huge step for making AI accessible, even without an internet connection.
