I did a lot of reading on vacation, although not much game playing, sadly. Lots of mysteries to rec: To Catch a Thief (the book, really great), The Killings at Badger’s Drift (Midsomer Murders first book), Dead Money (a murder in San Francisco startup), classic The Westing Game; in fantasy, the very good Witchcraft for Wayward Girls, the classic horror story “The Yellow Wallpaper”; in sf, Automatic Noodle was excellent, and I enjoyed Yesterday’s Kin (Nancy Kress) and most of the sequel. I’m reading Kuang’s Katabasis now and enjoying it, will report back in a month,

In TV, I rec The Institute for fantasy tv fans. Otherwise things are a bit mixed!
