End of the month recs for the supporters… with a few teasers on top. Get yourself a wall projector! Because I had Covid this month, I watched a boatload of TV. I wasn’t really grabbed by the book I was reading, and didn’t want to think in games, so it was all passive screen time. So I’ll take a moment to plug a small screen projector I had gotten a month earlier for use with a treadmill — these thingies are now cheap (like $50 range on the Amazons), wifi connected with streaming apps, and bright enough with the shades drawn. I took down a hanging picture and projected on the wall, so I could lie on the sofa while watching. Solid WIN. I would recommend getting one with a plain Android OS, and maybe even its own mouse (I did not, but control mine via HDMI on tablet since tabbing around is hard). Apart from the large number of short tv recs (mostly thrillers) below, I recommend the game Caravan SandWitch, books The Last Soul Among Wolves by Melissa Caruso, This Princess Kills Monsters by Ry Herman, and the 4th Department Q book by Jussi Adler-Olsen.
