AI factories are essentially massive data centres equipped with high-performance GPUs ready to turn raw data into actionable intelligence. Foxconn, the Taiwanese electronics giant responsible for producing gadgets for tech giants like Apple, is now on a mission to build these AI factories.
“A new type of manufacturing has emerged – the production of intelligence. And the data centres that produce it are AI factories,” said Jensen Huang, emphasising that Foxconn has the expertise and scale to build AI factories globally.
This partnership was unveiled during Foxconn’s annual tech day in Taipei, where Huang made a surprise appearance. Foxconn's CEO Young Liu drove to the stage in their new electric, and Huang quipped, “This car is an ideal vehicle for a young couple, like Young and me!”
Bringing AI to Life
Recently, NVIDIA also announced its plans to expand its Jetson platform for edge AI and robotics, bringing generative AI into the real world, and out of the omniverse. The tech giant’s vision of bringing AI into the physical world is happening faster than expected.
A few months ago, Huang Jensen said that the next big reinvention is probably where AI meets the physical world. He said that all of our AI experiences, today, are related to digital – it's in the form of software, information, and mostly, digital-related Al.
“The next generation of AI, where AI meets $100 trillion of the world’s industry would be in the physical world,” he added, pointing at transportation, robotics surgery, warehouse management, manufacturing, energy, and fabrication plants.

Can AI Teach Coding?
In an era when everyone can aspire to become a coder, the likes of ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Amazon’s CodeWhisperer, Tabnine, Google’s Codey – and an upcoming one from Zoho – are changing the way developers, both beginners and experts, learn coding and use it to their advantage.
However, a recent study conducted by the University of San Diego, which includes observations from professors from universities across nine countries, reveals concerns about students using AI coding assistance tools.

Achieving Milestones
Mastering the space ecosystem is no small feat. From development to deployment, each mission demands years of intricate work. However, Hyderabad-based Dhruva Space has cracked the code by completing three space missions in less than a year – a record for any private Indian space tech company to date.
