OpenAI Debuts Atlas, An AI-Powered Web Browser OpenAI has just launched a new web browser called ChatGPT Atlas, aiming to compete with popular browsers like Chrome. This new browser has a special AI assistant built right in. Key Details: The Atlas browser comes with a chatbot that can understand what’s on your screen, so you don't have to copy and paste stuff to give it context. It also remembers your browsing history to give you more personal and helpful answers. If you have a Pro or Business subscription, you can use an "agent mode" to make the AI do web tasks for you, like filling out forms or ordering things. Right now, it works on Mac computers, but versions for Windows, iOS, and Android are coming soon. Why It Matters:   This move by OpenAI shows they want to be more than just a chatbot company.
