After the owner came across the vessel neglected in 1998, he completely refit the vessel over the past 20 years. During the refit, among other things, the frames, underwater hull and decks were completely renewed. The engine was also completely overhauled and has been sailed less than 20 hours since. The refit is fully documented and the vessel has been returned to its original condition. The Runabout Barrelback has always been sailed dry from storage.
