Celebrate NCI’s 30th anniversary

FORWARD TO A FRIEND VIEW EMAIL IN BROWSER Can you join in and help NCI celebrate its 30th anniversary of helping to save lives around the coast? For 30 years, NCI's highly trained volunteer watchkeepers have kept a daily visual and VHF radio watch for anyone in danger around our coasts. We're the eyes and ears that give you and your crew an added safety back up. You can also call us on VHF CH 65 for radio checks and information on local conditions. We're looking out for you from 60 stations around the coast of England and Wales. This year, more than any other, we're asking you, our friends in the sailing and boating community, to support us and there are lots of easy ways to do it. NCI is entirely self-funded, relying on public support from people like you and corporate sponsorship to maintain and expand our stations. DONATE Bring the family and join in our 30th anniversary flag celebrations as it makes its 2,000 -plus mile journey around the coast on a station-to-station relay, travelling in an anti-clockwise direction. The relay started earlier this month at NCI Fleetwood and is supported by Sirius Insight. By the end of June, it will be heading along the northern coast of Devon and Cornwall, before heading east along the south coast. It will finish at NCI Filey in September. "The relay is about having some fun, raising awareness of our work and hopefully raise some vital funds as well. It is helping to shine a spotlight on our volunteers and our lifesaving work as a part of the UK's maritime search and rescue community."
