Sign up here ___________________________________________________________ In the recent episode of 'Unconfuse Me with Bill Gates’, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman shared the age dynamics of the company, asserting that it is not run by “a bunch of 24-year-old programmers”.   Altman revealed that unlike the early days of Apple and Microsoft – which was started by a bunch of teenagers – OpenAI's team isn't dominated by youthful programmers, but boasts a diverse age range including many in their 30s, 40s, and 50s.  Further, observing a general trend of older folks in tech, Altman expressed his concern. “I think it’s somehow a bad sign for society, but I tracked this down at YC. The best founders have trended older over time,” he added.  Not just OpenAI, if you look at a majority of them at the tech companies, the likes of Perplexity AI, Midjourney, Stability AI, Anthropic, Hugging Face, Cohere and others, most are in their late 30s or early 40s.  The same goes for next-generation tech startup folks, the likes of Humane Ai and Rabbit, who are in their 30s and early 4os and have previously worked at companies like Apple and Baidu, respectively.  Read the full story here. Level 5 Autonomy: Confirmed!   A few weeks ago, Indian autonomous driving company Swaayatt Robots claimed to have achieved Level 5 autonomy.
